WomanCare is staffed by a team of trained volunteers under the supervision of our Director. Most volunteers do not have academic degrees in counseling, therefore the peer counseling provided is not intended as a substitute for professional counseling. We offer information, emotional and spiritual support, and practical help.
Facing an unplanned pregnancy can be confusing and overwhelming, even when you have a strong network of support around you. It’s even harder when you are alone. Our peer counsellors are here to provide a listening ear. We are available to discuss with you all your options – adoption, parenting, and abortion – in a caring and respectful manner.
All our services are free and confidential. We provide:
- Pregnancy tests
- Crisis pregnancy peer counseling
- Information on pregnancy and fetal development
- Information on all pregnancy options, including abortion, parenting, and adoption placement
- Practical support services (maternity and baby clothing and related items)
- Post-abortion grief counselling
- Sexual integrity education
- Community referrals

WomanCare Pregnancy Centre is not a medical facility. We do not perform or refer for abortions. We provide non-judgemental, compassionate support, and information on all pregnancy options. Our services are not intended as a substitute for professional counselling or therapy.
